When Love Is Blind season 2 premiered on February 11, 2022, it showed a whole new crop of contestants speed dating inside the pods, and it’s time to discuss who’s still together today. On the show, cast members hoped to get engaged after 10 days, without ever seeing their love interests. After a successful first season, fans were eager to learn about the new contestants being introduced, and wondered if any of them would find lasting love. However, the second season has since aired many messy updates for fans.
During Love Is Blind season 2, six couples got engaged in the pods, before they ever actually saw each other. Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones, Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson, Natalie Lee and Shayne Jansen, Deepti Vempati and Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee, Mallory Zapata and Salvador Perez, and Shaina Hurley and Kyle Abrams all agreed to marriage. They did so although they had never met in person. Shaina and Kyle infamously didn’t even make it to their wedding day, and only two of the pairs stuck together after the show. Then, things got worse.
Love Is Blind – Iyanna McNeely & Jarrette Jones (Divorced)
Iyanna and Jarrette are one couple who did decide to marry on Love is Blind season 2. However, they filed for divorce in September 2022. People reported irreconcilable differences as the reason why Iyanna filed for divorce, after sticking it out with Jarrette for months post-filming. Iyanna doesn’t appear to currently be in a relationship, though she is very close to her female Love is Blind costar. Jarrette also appears to be living the single life in early 2023. The Love Is Blind pair have showed no signs of reconciling after their divorce.
Love Is Blind – Danielle Ruhl & Nick Thompson (Divorced)
Danielle and Nick were a quick match, as they were the first couple to become engaged on their season, and also tied the knot before it ended. However, like Jarrette and Iyanna, Danielle and Nick later split up. People reported that after a year of marriage, Danielle filed for divorce in August 2022, after the duo tried to fix their relationship in couples counseling. Danielle has not shared a new love interest on Instagram, though she does still hang out with her fellow Love is Blind cast members. The Love Is Blind celeb Nick is currently focused on being a mental health advocate, news and politics critic, and podcast host.
Love Is Blind – Natalie Lee & Shayne Jansen (Split)
Natalie and Shayne are one couple who didn’t marry. Natalie ultimately couldn’t wed on Love is Blind, after having an explosive fight with Shayne the day before. Shayne and Natalie did date after filming, though Natalie accused Shayne of casting for another dating show while they were still together. Natalie said she and Shayne were approached for Perfect Match in September 2021, when they were still dating. She added that, behind her back, he entered the casting process in November. Shayne went on to date Chloe Veitch, though he confirmed in the show’s Netflix YouTube update that they split. Natalie appears to be single and thriving.
Deepti Vempati & Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee (Split)
Deepti and Shake were one couple that had viewers relieved when they didn’t marry, as Deepti said no at the altar. Shake is now considered one of the biggest Love is Blind villains of all time, due to the terrible things he said about Deepti when she wasn’t around. She has the full support of fans. Deepti appears to be single, and really thriving in 2023. Shake recently sparked dating rumors with Corinne Olympios. Deepti confirmed to People in March 2022 that she no longer speaks with Shake, which appears to still be the case.
Love Is Blind – Mallory Zapata & Salvador Perez (Split)
Mallory and Salvador were one Love is Blind couple who respectfully decided not to get married, as Sal admitted to needing more time. The duo left it open-ended in terms of whether they would continue their romance. However, they revealed at the reunion that they didn’t have a romantic connection after filming. Though viewers were eager to see the couple get back together, Sal has since moved on to have a relationship with Jessi Palkovic, which is considered controversial. The two have been together since at least September 2022, and appear serious. Mallory seems to be single in 2023, and she is thriving on social media.
Love Is Blind – Shaina Hurley & Kyle Abrams (Split)
Kyle and the eccentric Shaina had their entire courtship aired on Love is Blind season 2. Shaina, a devout Christian, couldn’t move past Kyle’s atheism. She ended up dumping him early on, and trying to see if she could split up Shayne and Natalie, in a bid to win Shayne back. However, Shayne and Shaina never matched on the show, or away from the series. Shaina has been married to Christos Lardakis since July 2022. Kyle has a gorgeous girlfriend named Tania Deleanos.
