The movie looks like a hilarious set-up that could potentially turn very dark by the end. Both actors are a lot of fun to watch with Steven Yeun’s Thunderbolts role suggesting he is going to break out as an A-lister before long. 9 Transatlantic (2023)
The new limited series Transatlantic could be an intriguing new addition to the Netflix library in April. Based on a true story, the series follows American journalist Varian Fry (Cory Michael Smith) who, during a year spent in France in 1940, helped thousands of refugees escape the country and head to America when their lives were in danger. It is a thrilling true story that likely not very many people know much about. The series also stars Gillian Jacobs and Corey Stoll.

Though the event was tackled in the Peter Berg directed movie Patriots Day, American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing will dive into the true story in more detail. 1 The Hateful Eight: Extended Version (2023)
While Quentin Tarantino’s move to television could be part of his movie retirement plan, one of his films is getting converted to the medium with the director’s blessing. The Hateful Eight is Tarantino’s bloody and brutal western thriller which follows a group of suspicious characters taking refuge in a cabin together during a storm with tensions rising and trust non-existent. The lengthy director’s cut of the movie is over three hours so Tarantino and Netflix have decided to release it as a four-part miniseries. It will be fascinating for fans who have seen the movie to see how it works in this new format while those who haven’t can now tackle the bloody affair in bite-size pieces.
