Serena & Lily open in Roslyn

Serena & Lily’s latest design shop in now open in Roslyn at 1489 Old Northern Blvd. The 5,500 square-foot, three-story shop marks the firm’s 18^th location.

The shop is complete with an outdoor patio – which, like the rest of the space – showcases the brand’s aesthetics and serves to provide visitors with inspirations for their own homes.

It’s the second Long Island shop for the California-based home décor brand, which is all about a relaxed, yet elegant coastal sensibility to its furniture, bedding, accessories and interior design.

“We are very excited to be establishing a presence on the Gold Coast, with its beautiful coastline and charming historic homes,” Lori Greeley, CEO of Serena & Lily, said in a statement.

The Roslyn shop, which was built in 1900 and restored from top to bottom, “is our second location on Long Island, joining our first-ever location in the Hamptons,” Greeley said.

The space underwent a complete renovation to create “home-like vignettes to inspire customers to reimagine their own bedrooms, living rooms, and dining spaces,” according to a news release about the new Roslyn shop.

The space’s rotating art gallery features pieces from local artists and includes works from Carol Saxe, Lainey Stewart, Margot Carr, Kate Sciabala and Valerie Leuchs.

The shop highlights the brand’s signature bedding, wallpaper, and rug collections along with the brand’s original furniture, lighting, upholstery and accessories.

The shop also features a design studio, providing complimentary in-person or virtual design services for customers. And it offers a dedicated workspace for interior designers for their private appointments, client meetings and presentations during and outside of regular business hours.

Headquartered in Sausalito, CA, Serena & Lily was founded in 2003.
