While Xenk already narrowly escaped the beckoning death spell, the no-nonsense paladin will certainly be interested in teaming up with Edgin, Holga, Simon, and Doric again to battle the Red Wizards and end Szass Tam’s schemes for good.
Whether Szass Tam tracks down Xenk and the thieves or they band together to fight the Red Wizard in Thay, it seems inevitable that a sequel to Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will see this battle as its main conflict. Sofina was just the first part in their fight against the Red Wizards, so Xenk’s tragic backstory, Zia’s death at the hands of Red Wizards, and the battle at Neverwinter are building toward a massive confrontation with the mastermind Szass Tam.
