Vanderpump Rules’ Tom Schwartz Claims Tom Sandoval Loves Raquel Leviss

Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz claims Tom Sandoval is “in love” with Raquel Leviss after their months-long affair. The infidelity was discovered in early March by Sandoval’s then-girlfriend Ariana Madix, who was also close friends with Raquel. Amid the fallout, Sandoval’s relationship status with the 28-year-old was unclear. But at the VPR season 10 reunion, the controversial stars reportedly told Andy Cohen they plan to be a couple. Meanwhile, Schwartz’s role in the scandal has repeatedly been questioned.

During his recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Schwartz spilled the tea about Sandoval and Raquel’s romance.

He claimed it began as a one-night-stand in August, insisting his own dalliance with her at that time wasn’t a “decoy.” Then in January, Sandoval confessed to Schwartz that he was “in love” with Raquel. While supportive of his BFF, the 40-year-old was brutally honest about the “Scandoval” affair. He described Raquel as Sandoval’s “heroin,” and claimed his business partner is “addicted” to and “obsessed” with the former beauty queen. Schwartz wasn’t optimistic about their future either, saying it would take a “miracle” for the relationship to last because it’s “toxic.”

Andy Cohen reminded Schwartz that, at the VPR season 10 reunion, he claimed to have found out in January. The bar owner responded with a rambling explanation Andy called “world salad.” He said the one-night-stand in August was a “mid-life crisis”, and by fall, it was a “gray area,” and“emotional affair,” repeating, “I didn’t think it was a linear thing.” Guest John Owen Lowe jokingly asked him to define “linear.” But Katie Maloney’s ex-husband kept contradicting himself. He claimed to think Sandoval and Ariana already split, but also said there was a plan to tell her. He called the affair an “open secret,” but described sneaking Raquel into a trip like “contraband.”

Schwartz’s undying loyalty to Sandoval has hurt a lot of people over the years. Ariana was his friend too, and even a groomsman in his wedding. His refusal to ever stand up for Katie, especially to Sandoval, was the nail in the coffin for their marriage. Amid their divorce, he still disrespected his former partner of 12 years’ boundaries, just so he could cover for his pal. While reacting to the most recent episode, Katie noted how awkward and staged her former husband’s first make-out with Raquel was, amazed that it upset her so much at the time.

Vanderpump Rules villain Schwartz appeared oblivious to the pain he’s caused Katie and Ariana. But his comments didn’t do any favors for himself, Sandoval, or Raquel. Considering how bad that trio already looked, Schwartz’s ability to make it worse is almost impressive. Sandoval, who is infamously obsessed with what people think, likely isn’t happy about that. Or that his best friend appears so negative about the romance he ruined his reputation and decade-long relationship for.
