Honkai: Star Rail’s Kafka is an excellent 5-star character to have and one of the first heroes that players control in the game – even before the main character, Trailblazer. The Stellaron Hunter is first shown at the Herta Space Station, which is under an attack led by the Antimatter Legion. Controlling her in the first instances of the game is part of the tutorial, showing off her Skill and Ultimate Abilities.
Later on, she is joined by her ally, Silver Wolf, as they progress through the Space Station until they find the Stellaron and embed it into the body of Trailblazer. Honkai: Star Rail’s Kafka makes a very strong impression, and although her gameplay is limited to the trial period, players can acquire her and integrate the character into their parties, making further use of her combat skills.
How To Unlock Kafka
To unlock Kafka in Honkai: Star Rail, players will need to partake in the normal procedure for acquiring any 5-star hero in the game: Warping. For reference, Warps are equivalent to Genshin Impact’s Wishes – both Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail are from the same developer, HoYoverse, and share a similar gacha system, hence the comparison. As of Version 1.0, however, Kafka is not obtainable in the game.
The character is not part of either the Beginner Warp or the Standard Warp Banners. As such, players who wish to get Kafka in Honkai: Star Rail must wait for her to be featured in a limited-time banner. This will be the case for many of Honkai: Star Rail’s characters, starting with Seele and Jing Yuan.
How To Use Kafka
Honkai: Star Rail’s Kafka is a character who follows The Nihility Path in the game. This means that in Honkai: Star Rail’s combat system, she will excel at debuffing enemies. In a team comp, this is a spectacular addition. Aside from the fact that she can inflict a good amount of damage herself, she can substantially boost her team’s performance by simply inflicting DoTs (damage-over-time) on them and then multiplying the damage of any other DoTs in action.
What makes Honkai: Star Rail’s Kafka even better is her element: Lightning. There is a considerable amount of Lightning characters in the game, and she is not even the best 5-star Honkai: Star Rail character in that category, but the fact that she is a damage dealer with that element is excellent. This allows for a wider party variety, essential for countering most enemies in the title.
While Honkai: Star Rail’s Kafka is not immediately available, she should be on most players’ radars. Her skills are quite useful and can make a significant difference in most Honkai: Star Rail team comps, especially for those who are just starting to understand the mechanics of the turn-based RPG.
